Do marketers know terms related to AI search engine optimization like GEO, AEO, and LLMO? Which terms are trending, have the most positive sentiment, and have the most related job openings?

To find out, Fractl and Search Engine Land conducted original research and analyzed third-party data (see the full report and methodology here).

The researchers found that the most well known AI-related SEO terms among marketers are "GEO" (generative engine optimization), "AEO" (answer engine optimization), and "AISEO" (artificial intelligence search engine optimization).

The AI-related SEO terms that have seen the largest recent increases in search interest are "answer search optimization," "generative engine optimization," and "artificial intelligence optimization."

The AI-related SEO term with the most positive sentiment on Reddit is "AISEO / AI search engine optimization" and the term with the most positive sentiment on LinkedIn is "AISO / AI search optimization."

The AI-related SEO term that is connected to the most job openings on Indeed is "AISO / AI search optimization."
