AI tools are already helping enterprises with individual content tasks, but most global teams are not yet seeing their benefits in areas like content workflow orchestration and contextual localization, according to recent research from Smartcat.
The report was based on data from a survey of more than 200 enterprise leaders and team leads responsible for global content, localization, and enablement.
Some 80% of respondents say AI tools have accelerated global content creation and 68% say AI tools made research and summarization more efficient.
However, only 32% say AI tools are currently helping with workflow orchestration and just 21% say AI tools are helping with contextual localization and adaptation.

Nearly all respondents say their organization has adopted some basic AI/machine learning usage policies, but more complex technical and process controls are less common.

Some 24% of respondents say their enterprise offers no formal AI training and 34% say their enterprise relies on self-serve AI training.
