Knowledge workers say email and and chat/messaging are the tools that lead to the most friction and lost time in the workplace.

That's according to a survey conducted by Lokalise of 1,000 knowledge workers across 11 industries in the United States.

An infographic (below) covers key findings from the research.

It looks at the tools that cause the most friction and lost time, as well as tech stacks' impact on collaboration, well-being, and productivity.
