Need Catchy Slogan For Fence Company.

Posted by Anonymous on 250 Points
Helping an owner of a fence company who installs all sorts of fencing: wood, chain-link, ranch style, etc. for residential, industrial or commercial customers. I'm trying to come up with a catchy slogan to go along with his business name.

Something along the lines of...If you need it, we will build it. (taken from "Field of Dreams" movie).

Ouch! That tagline has been really overdone.

"Making good neighbors" would be more appropriate.
(As in "Strong fences make good neighbors")

"Please fence me in" (as in Don't fence me in)

I applaud your efforts to help your friend, and it would be helpful if you could answer a few questions for us.

First, why do you want a slogan? What do you think it will do for the business? What's the objective?

Second, what is it you're trying to communicate with the slogan? What is the MESSAGE? Or are you just trying to be cute?

Third, what makes your friend any better than other fence companies? What's his point of difference? Why should anyone buy from him?

Fourth, who exactly is the prime target audience for your message? Are you trying to reach builders/general contractors, homeowners, pet owners, etc? And where do these folks live? What country, what size city, suburbs or urban or rural? What do they look for when purchasing a fence? How do these people make decisions?

Finally, what's the name of the company? If it's a great name, maybe you don't need a slogan. And if it's not such a great name, then maybe the slogan's role is to communicate what the name should have communicated.

    Net, we need more information.
