Need A Name And Slogan/tagline

Posted by Anonymous on 500 Points
Hi folks,
I am starting a business that will export and import scientific instrument (analytical instruments) and things needed for the lab.

The products primary will be used in the pharmaceutical labs to test the drugs quality, safety, etc. The tagline can be about testing drugs or pharmacuetical related...Or anything else that you guys thing are appropriate..

I would like to include the word "Power" (sentimental reason) and would like to avoid (exports/imports) in the name. If possible I would like to include the part "Ameri" or "America" in the name.

I will be trying to sell American products in Asia and vice versa. In other words act as an agent/distributor. I will also be dealing with end consumers. My reps will be meeting the customers and creating the demand.

I also need a slogan/tag line. I did some home work, unfortunately, I am not happy with the answers that I got...

thanks

Frankly, you kind of fix the name already by requesting for 2 words to be included. without knowing the reasons behind, may I suggest

    Americasia Power Laboratory Supplies

Tag line - our passion is in precision and accuracy

I would suggest American Power Instruments, but it is too close to American Power Conversion the manufacturer of UPS's.

AmeriPower Instruments - Testing the Integrity of Pharmacueticals

American Labratory Instruments- Helping Define the Quality of Drugs

Why limit to an America Brand ?
Suggest you work off a North American Brand - Give more connotation to a bigger company. Perception is everything in marketing - Your Supplied Perception becomes their reality.
    I suggest:

North American Lab Tools - Power you can trust.

    North American Laboratory Power
    Tools You Can Trust

    North American LabTools
    Our Power Goes Beyond Science

    North American Laboratory Instruments
    Power - Analytics - Tools

    OR an Acroynm:
    NALI
    North American Laboratory Instruments
We Put the Power in Tools

Good Luck and Happy Marketing ~

I realize that I have put a lot of restrictions.. Will it make it any easier if I drop the requirement for "Ameri" or "America" in the name...

Hi elangom! This is my suggestion:

    Brand: " TAI American "

Slogan: "Test & Analytical Instrumentation. The power of the American tecnology".

In case you renounce to include the word power, then the slogan could be: "Test & Analytical Instrumentation. American tecnology" or "Test & Analytical Instrumentation with American tecnology"

What do you want the tagline to do for you? Why are you looking for a tagline? Why is it important for you?

Do you have a formal positioning statement? Who is your prime target audience? How will you be reaching them?

What is the most important benefit your customers will realize when they buy from you?

You may have these answers, but they are not obvious. It may be that you need to get your overall marketing strategy and positioning down before you begin the search for a tagline or slogan.
