Need A Good/catchy Name For A Conference

Posted by Anonymous on 250 Points
I am in charge of putting together a conference for financial institutions and I need a good/catchy name.

The sessions/topics for this conference are: - insurance products - collections - examination issues - products for the financial institutions.

Who is the target audience? "Financial institutions" don't attend conferences; people do. What benefit will they realize when they attend your conference? What's in it for them to spend the time/money?

A good name should suggest some benefit for the attendees, right? Or at least it should let them know what the conference is all about, what they'll learn, etc.

the target audience is CEO's and Board Members of credit unions. The benefit is learning more about
insurance products, collections, examination issues. So far i came up with: The Empowerment Conference and/or The Progression Conference.

    Any suggestions?

I could be wrong about this, but do you think CEOs and Board Members of credit unions will want to get involved in nitty-gritty topics like insurance products, collections and examination issues?

I would have thought their role is to ensure that the organizations' strategic direction was right and that the individual branch managers and staff were setting the right priorities (and dealing with those kinds of issues).

I sense a kind of disconnect between the target audience and the benefit. Will CEOs and Board Members want to "learn more" about operational details?

As for the names you've come up with, neither of them says anything about the target audience or how they'll benefit. (Do these folks need to be "empowered?" What does "progression" mean in this context?)
