Discounting Fee During Market Plan Development?

Is it customary for marketing professionals to work for free or at discounted rates while the marketing plan is being developed (standard rate to be paid after this period)?

If so, in what particular industries is this fee arrangement most common?

    Nope, Only fools do that. Unless like Paul (truprophet) says, you have an iron clad contact to share profits.
