Pricing Perspective Of An Airline

i am a student at otago university and have to give a 15 min presentation on this question, "Virgin blue is set to undercut Air New Zealand's trans-tasman (austraila to new zealand) fare structure. From a pricing perspective, how should Air New Zealand responed?" i would like some ideas of where to start please.

    thanks for your in-put even though i already trhought of most of it. but you did have some ideas i didn't think of. i think i will give my points to Sharon. but i thank all the people who help people by using marketing Prof.

    i think you should also note that Air NZ did tryed to do that, as a result they almost went bankcourpt only to bailed out by the goverment who now owns 80% of the company.
