How Can I Promote My New Pixel Site?

Any ideas to promote my new pixel site. Its only $10 to get a spot. I have a feeder page which I would like you to evaluate for me. And also should I make the actual site https://webmaster1.ws more attractive

    If I were you, I'd buy some of my own stuff or offer free for the first 10...something. Really tough to get the first one. OR, give some free to a charity.

    There seem to be a lot of people selling these on www.trafficswarm.com and www.trafficg.com. Not sure if it's working for them or not.

    you might want to focus on a specific industry, like pc/online games, adult stuff, etc etc.

    First start by getting some boxes filled on your own. Being empty makes it difficult to break the trust barrier.

    Go around town and give away some free spots to non-profits. Get something on your board.

    I also agree, since so many are jumping on to this scheme, err I mean new revenue model, it will be hard to explain why being on your site is any better then all the rest.

    You have three key options available to you.

    1. SEO - optimise your site, there are lot of copycats, but it should still be possible to get a decent SEO company (like mine!) to optimise your site to get some natural traffic to it.

    2. SEM - in particular get a small AdWord campaign set up (either by Google or Yahoo!) and generate some interest that way.

    3. PR - give some spaces away (especially to charity) and get some good press releases sent out. You could have an offer (i.e. for every 1000 pixels sold, you will give 10 to a charity)!

    You need to think come up with a NEW IDEA that can be used for pixels, something like www.meetbypixels.com .

    I didn't mean to just copy the idea, i was using it as an example of a DIFFERENT idea that you will need to think of to make any money using pixels.

    You have missed the boat on the "milliondollarhomepage" idea.
