Tracking Youtube Clicks

We are considering having an e-newsletter (from a company we buy digital advertising from) feature one of our videos from our YouTube channel (rather than our usual, an image that links to our website). My question is, can I see how many people clicked on that YouTube video specifically through that newsletter? If so, how do I do this?

    Instead of providing a link directly to your YouTube video, provide a link to the video using a link shortening service (bitly, rebrandly, etc.). These services can be used to track link clicks.

    Another option is to create a duplicate (but unlisted) video, which you link to (and look at YouTube's stats for video watches).
