Need A Tagline For Seminar Company

Posted by Anonymous on 125 Points
My company is called [company name deleted by staff]. Our training events/seminars are designed with women's success in mind. We are not the stuffy, lecture-ladened seminar that most are used to. Once a participant has completed our event, they are energized, inspired and armed with tools to aid them in their journey to success. We specialize in the personal and professional development of women. They are highly experiential, interactive and every participant leaves with a Customized Plan of Action.
Here are the taglines I have been toying with but I am open to new ones or other variations. I appreciate your assistance.

    1. Seminar for/to Success

I personally fell, u should avoid using words like seminar & sucess in your tagline as your company name is "[company name deleted by staff]". Which have these 2 ords clubbed. I'll suggest:

    a) Personal & Professional
    b) Inspiring to Celebrate
    c) Inspiring to Achieve

    Hope it will help u.

Karen, I am soooooooo glad you wrote. I was trying to figure out today how to get a hold of you to solicit your input. In response to your question, I have always had the name [Company name deleted by staff] and bought the domain name because I like it but wasn't sure if it would stand up to the marketing test. So, I submitted the name question a few weeks ago (to which you responded). All the names I received was great but I still kept coming back to Successinars and wanted to see what type of response it would receive. Give me your 100% honest opinion about it. I am starting to work on my website and need to decide if I am going to brand my name (me) or brand the concept of transforming the lives and careers of women. Thoughts?
The tagline is important because I feel the name of the company tells the product. Seminars focused on success.... but I still want something more for marketing pieces, verbiage, for my pitch, etc.

    Brenda,

My concern with using "success" in your tagline is the vague meaning of the word. Success is a subjective concept that could mean five different things to five different women. Now, while some might conclude this versatility is a good thing - in regards to mass appeal - I believe your company would benefit from digging a little deeper and creating a slogan that articulates a more specific result of attending your seminars.

I also would suggest you stay away from "catchy" phrases and "slick" one-liners. People can spot fluff a mile away. You want your tagline to create a personal connection to Successinars, and this can only be accomplished by staying real.

With that beign said, if I was the CMO of Successinars, I would position the company as a PARTNER, a GUIDE, a FRIEND to women; a CONFIDANT of sorts. I would focus on the strength of today's woman; without forgetting her vernerabilities. I would position Successinars as THE place to go to when a woman, professional or otherwise, wants to become a better mom; a better wife; a better executive; a better sister; a better cook; a better employee; a better whatever. The options are limitless. And that's exactly what I would tell women. Whatever they want to become, Successinars can help them get there.

Helping good women become even better!

Hello, I have formed a company called Farfalla - we focus on preparing students and recent graduates for the transition into the professional world. We will be holding our very first Lecture/Seminar and I was looking for a catchy title for it. Was hoping for some suggestions... looking at something fun that hits the point! For example...Career Concepts: Get your Foot in the Door. As you can see... I need help!!!! Looking forward to your great ideas and responses!
