Design Software For Enewsletter

Posted by Anonymous on 250 Points
I am becoming very confused about email newletter marketing. I have been looking for a software program that I can use to design a custom newsletter for my client - a small cruise line. They have their own mailout services, all they need from me is the "cyber physical" newsletter. I have spent hours searching the web and have not been able to find anything that fits the bill. The closet software so far is from Atomic Mail, but it's very limited in its graphic capabilities and comes with a trunk full of list management features that I don't need. My client uses the dreaded Microsoft mail management service. I went to that website and found their design capbilities to be nil, so please don't suggest that.

ANY suggestions will be greatly appreciated

    Hi eunonna,

You can't go wrong with Constant Contact.

    www.constantcontact.com

It is an ASP (application service provider) not installable software, but I think this is a much better way to go.

You do have to host the database on their server, but this is good, and it is easily importable through CSV format.

If offers everything you want at a reasonable price and you can try it for free for 60 days or 50 subscribers.

There are many out there, but I think for the feature set for the price, Constant Contact is hard to beat.

    I hope that helps!

You might want to consider a simple php script from www.miro.com.au called Oi!

Oi! is an online e-mail composition and mailing list administration system that rocks. I've got a few clients using it, and its very user friendly. I use it myself!

If you can drag and drop, and type a bit, you can make your own e-mail messaging system.

You could outsource for e-mail templates, then fill in your copy as needed.

This is a web based system, and can be tied into your webpages too. For the cost, save yourself the monthly fees of renting a system...buy your own.

As for the fireworks and other stuff....that's a bit too hard for me...Oi lets me do as much with the built in html editing that is soooo simple...I don;t even have to know html.....its drag and drop!
