Home Based Online Jobs

Hi All,

I know, this question is a little irrelevant in this forum, but I do trust the authenticity of the people answering in this forum.

I have been thinking to make money on internet in my spare time sitting at home. Did a little research and found few options where I can make money, but my only fear is scam. Although the subscription fee they are charging is nominal. But the threats are greater like Crediit Card Hacking etc.

I want to take your views on online paid surveys, postal marketing and name list processors. What is a general perceptions about these options to make money online? Do people really make money out of these or not? How can i check that they are not scams? Are you guys aware of any sites that can help make money in my spare time? Any other idea on home based internet job would be appreciated.

To keep out the scam factor I choose the companies advertising on google or overture for home based work. How does that sound? The next obvious question is does google/overture bans someone doing scam? Some one advertisng on google or overture can be trusted or not?

Surveys pay but like claire.shiels said, you have to go through screening and you are not always approved. Once you are approved for a survey, you only gete few bucks. The best one I have seen so far is www.gozing.com

One of the best ways yo make money rom home is ebay. I learned how to do it several years ago and still do it every now and then to make a few hundred (or thousand) dollars. The listing part is easy, it's finding the right stuff to sell that is the hard part.

I go to garage sales and have developed an eye for what I know will sell on ebay on what will not. For example, I saw an old antique, italian cameo braclet for $5, I bought it right away, went home, put it on ebay and sold it for $72 by the end of the week. I could write a book on how to pick things out..too much to list here but you might want to check it out. Ebay.com has a lot of tutorials on getting started. Google has a TON of tips and tricks.

    Good Luck!
