How Do You Execute A Re-brand/re-naming?
There are a lot of great articles and cases out there on why branding is important, how to sell the idea of branding, and theories about re-branding. However, I've been unable to find anything (articles or cases) on how to execute a re-brand/re-naming? Assuming, you've determined your new brand positioning, you've done all the research, and you're going forward with it, how do you execute? Are there any sources of information out there that talk about tactically how to build a project plan (for lack of a better description) on how to get buy-in, both internally (from the customer facing employees) and externally (customers, vendors/distributors, suppliers, media, etc.). I'm just trying to figure out how to execute and avoid big pitfalls. Any insight or sources of information/cases would be greatly appreciated.
