Is There Any Theoretical Model Which Describes The Influence Of Point Of Purchase Advertising On Consumer's Perception?

I am a student of marketing management. I would like to know if there are any theoretical models which help in understanding the role of POP advertisements on consumer behaviour.

More specifically how does POP influence customer perception of a brand.

I have gone through quite a number of books, but to no avail.
