Need Catchy Way To Recruit Rec Committee Members

Posted by Anonymous on 125 Points
Hi All,

I'm on the Recreation Committee at my office and we are in need of a few more members. We're planning to send an office-wide email asking for volunteers, but I want a subject line that will 1) really catch people's attention, 2) show off our creative, fun spirit, and 3) encourage people to participate. Unfortunately,I've been without my computer for three days and don't have the time I'd like to spend brainstorming this. If any of you creative minds out there can come up with something witty, I'm open to and would really appreciate suggestions.

Thanks!

Cathy

Why should people become members? Ask your fellow members what benefits they get - why are they still on the committee? Is it a love of fun? organization? change? boredom? politics?

People are busy, and if you're asking them to donate more time from their life, you need to give them a compelling reason to do so.

    Hi All,

Thanks for your feedback. I was really looking for a subject line for an email, not for ways to recruit Rec Committee members. I have a great email put together to send, but no catchy subject line for it that will hopefully compel people to actually read the email. Any thoughts on that?

    Thanks,

    Cathy
