Tagline For Computer Consulting

Hello All! Great Site!

We started our company called "OmniStar Services" can be found at www.omnistarservices.com .
We would like a tag line that is smart and clever. It is a little hard becuase we do a wide array of things.

My husband does more of the back end stuff like networking, security, etc. Where I do more of the web stuff with site design and databases. We are kinda a one stop shop for anyting IT but want something clever to reflect it.

Also, Is the name okay? (Probably not since it doesnt say anyting about our biz.) Thoughts?

    Since you both seem like masters of your domain - I would highly suggest boasting this within your tagline. I wouldn't worry about the company name - the brand seems solid. I even kind of like your logo - which should come as a compliment considering I deal with branding on a day-to-day basis.

    "Digitally Inclined Solutions Spanning the Web, Networking, Security..."

    You get the drift. I am only offering you a starting point. Merge Creativity with Intelligence and you will find your tag-line.

    I like the name. If your company grows and diversifies, you can maintain the brand. But I think it is important to have a tag line that reflects what you do - kind of a clarification statement. I would go with a play on the OmniStar name:

    Spanning the IT Universe: Web Development - Networking - Security

    All Your IT Needs Under One Guiding Star

    Complete and Stellar IT Solutions

    A Galaxy of IT Solutions

    To think of more taglines with a space theme as Alexa suggested, I decided to jump in my Chevy Nova and go for a ride. While eating a Milky Way bar (it was a tossup between that and a Mars bar), I hit a black hole which bumped my Nova out of its usual orbit. Then my heater didn't work and the mercury was falling! I thought I would have to walk back to town unless I hitched a ride in a Saturn. What on Earth was I doing way out here? I certainly didn't planet this way. Then I saw a Starbucks! Even though I knew the place would have no atmosphere, I decided to run in and gravity with cream and sugar. That warmed me up. Oh well, I better give you some taglines before I run out of space. Would anyone else like to comet?

    I really think you tagline should get right to the point and tell the customer or potential customer everything you are about and achieve this without any guess work. So if they saw your tagline and that's all they saw -- they should know what you do and what your niche is.

    What is your niche? You offer a one stop shop. You offer both web and web security which are interelated but in many cases have to be bought at two seperate places. You should be boasting about that. That's where your tagline will be found.

    Sory folks, but I don't like the name...it sounds too much like a big corporation and from what I can tell this is the Un-BIG corporation.....I think you should position yourself as a boutique service....where customers get attention from the "boss" not someone on their first job....that said, the tag should bring out this quality of your business.....like "Leave IT to us" ....leave it to us because we'll be an extension of your business....don't try to be a big corporation..there are tons of those; there are not enough husband and wife teams with passion and that what they are buying...your passion, your knowledge and your commitment....bring out the violins!, dennis
