I don't know about the financial industry, and I know we have different success with different types of mailings. For our current customers we see about an 8% CTR, but when we mail out the larger population it drops to closer to 1.5%. This is in the Power Sports world.

    Good luck

    the answer is it depends.
Email to your group daily and it goes way down.
Email to your group monthly it comes up.

My own click through rates run from lows of 17% to hights of 40+%. Depending on what I offer and when I send it out.

Mine are very high..... because I send only to opt in people, give away tons of worthwhile information and i only send once per month..

The email service provider MailerMailer publishes a free yearly study with this exact information, but I can't find find the link to the report on their site.

I do have it in pdf form and can email it directly to you, if you want to send me an email address.

Most 'bought in ' almost Spam like databases have a click rate of .05% averaging over all industries. The figures for the financial sector don't make good reading somewhere between .03 and .05%.

The best way for a higher percentage of clicks is targeting your audienience yourself with something that is of interest to them like Frank
