Looking For Online Sales Training

I work for a company that has sales associates and account managers all over the country. I am looking for a good option as far as training goes.

What I would like to accomplish is the ability to train all the sales staff on our value proposition, features and benefits, and product usage via the internet. We were also thinking of adding video, the ability to have multiple choice tests, and possibly a message board. This training would be designed to our specs and for our company only. It would also allow us to save money by providing it over the internet rather than in person.

I am not sure if we would have to hire a web designer and place the information on our company intranet, or if their are established companies that offer this type of service. If anyone has used or developed such a system, could you provide more information.

Any help would be most appreciated.

    it is my experience that online training only works with deep sales management involvement.

    What works better I believe are packages of sales information developed for the sales managers to deliver on an ongoing basis.

    Unfortunately, many sales meetings are really product meetings with no guidance at all on how to sell the product.

    If you happen to be a wholesale distributor or a manufacture who uses a distributor channel... drop me a line. I will share some thoughts with you.
