Media Jobs

Hi,
I'm and MBA student in New York city with a concentration in Marketing/Communications & Media Management. I currently do marketing for a print publication, and am looking to do marketing for television. From my experience it seems as though it's a tough field to get into. Can you recommend any good headhunters, or offer any advice?
Thanks,
Courtney

Going from print to TV should not be all that hard. TV is derived from printed scripts which is essentially the area which you come from. Have you written any scripts, edited any story boards?

Research the corporate offices of large retailers/businesses (i.e. fortune 100)...companies with internal advertising departments. Before this job I worked for the #2 retailer in the country for 5 years. By the time I left I had experience in almost all aspects of advertising: Credit marketing, media planning, and broadcast production. It was an outstanding experience. And I must admit, broadcast was definitely the best!
