Thesis On Retail Graphic Design

Hi,

I have to identify a topic to work on for a project related to "Retail Graphic Design". I dont want to do the same old give away, tag and package design.

I am looking for some other innovative idea.

Please help.

    Study Urban Outfitters. There are a lot of lessons to be learned there. Other than that what type of retail are you talking about? There is a significant differnce between packaged goods, electronics and clothing. More direction would give me the ability to give you better advise.

    You might want to focus on a specific type of retailer (e.g. Department Stores).

    in terms of the project i am looking for a medium that i can apply the design to........ in a similar project we researched on india street graphics and used the designs on shoes as a give away...... I am tryin to find a medium and a design style for this project.... Also it would be great if you can help me indentify a area where i can apply the design.... eg: some thin innovative like window graphics ...... some thing that is different from the usual like paper cups and all......
