Steps To Competitve Marketing Strategies

pls i will like to know the differences between the steps taken to competitive marketing strategies and strategies planning because am not sure if they are different

    Okay, You have not used a very clear language. I would answer on what I think you are asking:-
    Difference between Competetive Marketing Strategy Vs Strategic Planning.
    CMS as I would call the former term, is part of SP ( strategic planning). When the board, or, decision makers in a company convene to decide short or long term strategies they would discuss ,amongst other things, about how to fair better against their direct and indirect competetion. As in most companies marketing department is the one responsible for branding, promotion and advertising, so marketing guys are roped in to plan competetive strategies.
    While SP is that overall proces of exploring strategies to address issues and focus on future corporate ambition.
