Need To Find A Thesis Topic For My Mba

I'm almost cmpleting my MBA specialsing in Marketing, & now I've to start my thesis but I'm totally blank on how to choose a research topic.
I'm working for a department store, as a buyer too, hence I would like to relate my thesis in the same feild. At this moment company has a problem of Not breaking even. But I'm not able to narrow it down this broad topic further.

    Since you are working in a Department store I feel identifying factors for Buyer Behaviour can be a topic.The data can be collected from say 100 respondents from 1 or more stores & then can be statistically analysed.Pl revert back.

    Got ur pint! I can take buyer behavier as my broad topic, but believe I should be narrow it down further considering two factors which can be compaired.
    And, also I should cum up with a conclusion & recommendations with related to Marketing.

    Am I in the correct way ?
