Simply offer a market capturing deal that the businesses in your area can not pass up. A highly discounted first time cleaning for their office at an unbelievable low rate. Think of the cut into your margins as advertising expenditure. Create some flyers for the special and market it everywhere. The discount would need to be time sensitive and offered on the first visit -- that way you don't get stuck in to the low rate.

Why not start with your existing clients. Many small business owners use cleaning at home as well. There may even be an advantage of billing the two together.. as many business owners use their homes for entertaining and off-site meetings which means your cleaning services would be a deductable expense.

Secondly, I believe a personal visit to small office parks and newly forming office condominiums would provide a pay off. Small businesses - those with 15-30 employees are the easiest to acquire and require the least amount of upfront bidding... and proposal building.
