    The biggest problem with IMC is that it doesn't include communication with the rest of the company as opposed to IC which does. IMC only focusses on what happens with the marketing side of a company - which basically means that you will not be able to be 100% sure that the other employees will be aligned with what the marketing department is communicating. Also - IMC is pretty much outdated - IC has proven to be more effective due to integrating the communication across the board. When you get to IBC it will become even more clear how this has become an excellent strategy.

    Most people dont know about IC, IMC or IBC but they still practice it in their own companies without even knowing hence the "What?" and "Huh?" above. Give a detailed description of your question and you'll get detailed answers - Levon does have some of the best insight into this kind of stuff.
