Best Medium For A Client-satisfaction Survey

Posted by Anonymous on 125 Points
I have been tasked with creating a client satisfaction survey for a a marketing media company that specializes in variable data publishing. We have the ability to either send the survey by mail or create one online and send a link to clients via e-mail. Which medium is more effective and will generate a higher response rate? Are there statistics to support one being better than the other?

I agree with cpappas. Your highest response rate will come from a phone call but it should be a one time thing.

I understand that a phone call sometimes is not the most practical approach which is why my recommendation is an online survey at your company website. Ideally, the email would be sent a specified time after the transaction with you client has taken place.

Another advantage to having the survey online, (other than making it easier for the client) is that the data can be extracted automatically. You can avoid having someone fumbling through papers and entering the data manually.

    Hope this help,
