My Ad Agency Needs An Opening Line

Posted by Anonymous on 25 Points
I work at an ad agency. We're sending out our company profile. It will be handed to our clients by hand, so it'll be presented in a sleeve. The sleeve needs a header to entice the client to explore inside. Can you help me come up with a simple, catchy line?

I just thought of something, which might entice you...

    On the sleeve write:
"It's just not worth opening this..."

and on the header of your letter write:
"...unless you know what it's worth"

I'm puzzled. What are the specialties / capabilities of your agency to be asking such a question? An ad agency asking how to present their #1 document seems unflattering to your agency. "Public" brainstorming is OK for anyone else, but probably not an ad agency. That being said. . . . . .

Maybe a photo of a puppy sniffing at the flap, and saying something like "help me find my brothers." Who can resist opening something with puppies on it. Have other shots of similar puppies inside.

    thanks alot for your comments.

This cover is actually different from the direct mailer. The direct mailer is sorta a call to action and reminder which we'll email our clients at a later time. For this specific headline, its to apply to the sleeve for our company profile, which will be given by hand.

The headline doesn't necessarily have to bang on our capabilities or strengths...or actually have anything to do with the company...but rather just an invite. i just wanted some ideas on different ways i could approach it.

    thanks again guys.
