Brand Launch

Posted by Anonymous on 250 Points
Hi ! Im looking to come up with some off the wall ideas for a new brand launch. its for a line of petrol/gas stations and i need to engage the customer on the forecourt. I keep getting ideas like "family fun" (bouncy castles) & stuff, but i need things much more interesting and unique!!!. Any ideas out there??????

Can't resist the temptation to say "FREE GAS". That'd bring in traffic.

But, you could do a discount roulette wheel. A very large one that YOU spin in the am and people who pay with cash get the discount. That at least brings them in for the retail sale.

A gas station visit is relatively brief (including grabbing a couple of snack foods). You could:

    1) Make it VERY brief (Fill ups in a minute!) - filling up a tank like they do at the race track with a very wide nozzle.

    2) Add additional value: quickie car rinse - either have an automatic machine to do the wash, or hire a couple of people to spray down the car and quickly wipe up the pooled water -- or vacuum the car in the same time.

    3) WIFI - so people with laptops can work.

    4) A see through gas pump/tarmac - so people can watch the gas being pumped into the car.

    5) Slot machines.
