Since I'm assuming your blog postings ping various servers (for example, https://pingomatic.com/), then the next step is to create backlinks - links from other sites to yours. Post in related blogs, ensure your blog is listed in various directories (https://www.blogcatalog.com/, https://www.blogarama.com/, etc.).

If you haven't already, you might want to take a step back and ask yourself why you are blogging.

For example, my blog focuses on practical career and marketing advice for marketers. For me, it's gratifying to be able to give back some of the same mentoring that I got when I was first starting out in my career.

I often find myself referencing something I wrote when I post on various forums like this one. When I have a post that articulates my point even further, it adds weight to my response.

Finally, it's also a calling card for other people I meet. I regularly point vendors, customers, colleagues and others that I will be working with to my blog - often to a specific post. It helps them get a much better feel for who I am. And, this allows me to move much more quickly from stranger to "trusted advisor" status.

I think the most hits I've ever received on any given day is seven. But, I still consider my blog a success because it supports my business objectives and gives me a great deal of personal satisfaction. If your blog is a personal one, define success on your own terms and not someone else's.
