Type Of Binding For Direct Mailer

Posted by Anonymous on 250 Points
I am in the process of creating a mail piece that will have 3-4 pages and would like to come up with a creative binding solution. This will be going out to furniture craftsmen and manufacturers so keep in mind it may be in a workshop environment.

I had envisioned laminating all pages and securing them with a single ring in the top left-hand corner (quick reference, durable). I am not sure what this is called so if anyone knows that would be appreciated - where I can have it done...even better!

Also, if there are other creative solutions, I do not have my heart set on this solution - simply a brainstorm.

Thanks in advance!

How long will they be sitting around the shop?
Will they receive a lot of handling?
Will there be future additions that follow to add to the whole, or will new replace the old?

I would reccomend working with a repgrographics company. They can show you a ton of different ways to print and bind your collateral -- ensuring the best user design and the cheapest to mail, too.

You could make the piece laser engraved in wood (such as: https://www.oslopress.com/collection.html) or other materials such as aluminum or fabric (https://specialevents.com/mag/meetings_intriguing_invitations/)

You also could send your normal mail piece, but enclose a piece of quality doll furniture to make your mail package interesting.
