How To Measure Human Connection In Internet Channe

Hi!
It is easy to measure human connection/interaction over the phone but how do you do it when you do it over the Internet? What can be done in the Internet process that will make customers happy if they are just applying online?

    Human connection on the internet as of now is measured by the pages they visit how long they stay on those pages and where they come and leave from. If you are proposing a new model or measurement tool -- I would be very interested in your project.
