I Am Looking For Information On Phone Dialers

Hello all. I am researching automatic phone dialer systems for my business. I wanted to know if anyone has any insights or experience with them. Where is the best place to start looking?
Do you prefer one brand over any other? Do you know any good resources that are a must read to educate myself on the pros/cons of each system? Any information is appreciated. Thanks!

    Diallers are yesterday’s technology! These days auto dialling is achieved using a database or CRM system to store the numbers, programming to tell it when too dial a number and what to show on a monitor and telephone or VIOP modem hardware to make and receive the call.

    PS CRM systems in call centres are used extensively to automate the outbound call effort, but they lead to dissatisfaction amongst your staff who feel constantly pressurised by a machine and they also piss off the recipients because about 30% of outbound calls have a dead line when the person receiving it picks-up.

    Depending on your application, the most important question which I ask would be clients who want to do this is, “How dark and satanic do you want your mill?” (Apologies to William Blake and Hubert Parry – Jerusalem)
