Best Practices For Placement-targeted Campaigns

Does anyone have a list of best practices for placement-targeted campaigns on google adwords?

For example,

+ What is a reasonable CTR to shoot for?

+ How do you know how much to bid?

+ Does the creative need to be tweaked in any way (for example, I assume the {Keyword:Generic Title} thing doesn't work on placement-targeted campaigns since there's no search term).

If you've tried placement-targeted campaigns on Google Adwords, I'd appreciate any advice or stories.

    There are a ton of blog entries, articles and webcasts on this and a lot of it is free. Go to YouTube, How Cast, Squido and run a search on the questions you have.

    You can also go to www.ppcmanagement.com and read their articles section. They can also advise you on how to set up Google Analytics.
