Direct Marketing

hello
as an intern, i am working on collecting procedures and finding news ways to enhance the customer loyalty. Right now, i am focussing on Direct marketing. To propose the best DM strategy to the entreprise, I need to list all kind of actions that can be done in that field. The general marketing books remain vague. Do you whether have an idea of how i can proceed, of some DM tools or if there are some special books on that topic?

    Anne, as Nicolas says, I suggest that you click on the link to the Search Questions feature on the right side of this page, but try two separate searches using the keywords "direct market" and "loyalty." You'll discover that a question similar to yours has been asked AND answered at least half a dozen times.

    I agree with the idea of checking the link. But the tools will depend on industry you are operating. If it is FMCG industry then first look into the consumer perception of your brand and why they have such. this can be done thru' a survey. Then find out how you can differentiate your brand from competitors by incorporating the consumer feedback. Two of the best ways to measure consumer loyalty is Repeat-purhcase and word of mouth. Find out these two factors from your survey and you will get some status of loyalty among your consumers.
