What sort of ideas are you looking for? Ways to market to your email list of past customers? A promotion to bring them back and to refer their friends or what?

Maybe email out a coupon that gets people a discount and way to "forward it to a friend" so they can share the promotion with others.

Hi - funny you should bring this topic up. The other day I was looking at subject lines for another forum I belong to and one of them was "Gifts from Cupcake.com" - whoa, I thought, I LOVE cupcakes - you can get those by mail??? And I searched and searched and didn't see any that I would actually order. Prices were outrageous. Anywhoo. If you are promoting such items as "mail order gifts" try going online to a group like startupnation.com and find topics asking for advice on gifting clients. Also, similar web forums. You would probably benefit from an adsense ad also that would come up when people search for client gifts.

Not sure on the name of the promo/your company? it would certainly effect the catch phrase - but how about - "the sweet spot of the summer"?

    Good luck.

Offer (free) delivery cakes/cupcakes to swimming pools, picnic benches, or offices. Focus on the impulse of "Gee, I want to eat something sweet and remarkable NOW".

    Dear shteinmetz68,

I think it is difficult to come up with any meaningful answer to this as you have not specified the size of your business or the business model.

Are we talking sales to retail outlets? or sales directly to consumers?

Are you talking about a mom & pop cottage industry at home? or a relatively large bakery with 500 bakers?

It is very important to be a little more specific in the questions so that respondents can make meaningful replies - also a link to your web site would be great so that we can see the products, the packaging and the general proposition.

    Thank you,

    Matthew
