Marketing In Tourism Sector As A Career

i am sunil chouhan pursuing MBA. Belong to Bijoliya, distt.- Bhilwara, rajasthan. As Rajasthan is well known for its tourist places, my hometown is one of them. So from my childhood i am interested in this sector & now want to make it as a career option. So please show me an appropriate way.

    Looks like you should check into opportunities with your local city and tourism council.

    Absolutely you can make marketing tourism your career. The fact that you have had a passion for this industry since child hood will show through to anyone who interviews or talks with you!

    Do they have organizations and companies that focus on tourism in Rajasthan? You could put together a list of these various organizations and start talking to them. Do research and keep good notes on who does what, who you talked to and so on.

    I wonder, since tourism is big there, are there networking events or job fairs you could attend?
