Hi all,
I work in a logistics company and have to send newsletters/flyers on a weekly basis to my company's dormant, active and potential customer. Where can i find information to put in my templates?

I invite my customers for exhibition and trade shows besides calling and sending corporate gifts every now and then to enhance the relationship, what else can i do apart from all these that would place us at the top of their mind?

Thanks...:-)

Weekly may be too often, unless this is something that is currently happening. Newsletters are usally only well received if the content is interesting and helpful.

In regards to what else you could do. Do you call to check up with customers after they use your services? Ask them if there is anyting that they would like to see done different or what they were happy with. Customer service and a good value are usually tow things that people remember best.

    Hope this helps,
    Mike

Article banks/directories have a wealth of information for free (so long as you provide proper credit). Start with: https://www.articledirectories.info/

You could have a banquet (if many customers are local), maybe a Christmas party or some other special function as a 'thank you' to all your customers. That way, people can get together with others, network and possibly bring new clients to the dinner.

Share informative articles that are NOT from your industry but may help them.

TEACH rather than Sell. What do YOU offer that will make them more successful than their competitor (not yours...the focus should be on them)?

You'll get rave reviews if you're different....and relevant

How about featuring one of your customers? Success story about using your product to improve business. Or, run a small article about someone in your company so the customers get to know the staff.

Case studies detailing how your company has saved a customer money.

Once as week has gotta be too often (and too hard). Consider monthly or quarterly, so customers look forward to it.

Logistics can be a tricky business. I would think there would be all kinds of tips you could share. e.g. managing overseas logistics, cutting costs, managing diverse distribution channels, etc. In addition to looking for articles written by experts in the industry, hopefully, you have a few internal experts you can tap into.

    All the best!

    Melissa
