Live Chat Research And Stat Sources

Hello,
Does anyone know of any research and/or statistical data sources or reports for the adoption and usage of live chat for commercial purposes? I appreciate any help or direction with this.

    Most of the data I've seen is from the live chat vendors, so I am always suspicious of their claims. You could check out this article for starters, though.

    Sorry I couldn't be of more help! We tried live chat ourselves and found it to be a waste of time.

    Thanks so much for the response! I ask the question because I'm doing consulting with a company that offers live chat and I want to know as much as possible about it.
