I think that one speaks for itself:

Imagine going into a store and the person behind the counter that is being paid to help you is gabbing away on his/her cell phone or engaging in playful banter with another employee even after you have approached them for help.

Believe me, I've had that crap happen lots of time.

Or, even if this is not the case and the employee has a bad disposition complete with matching facial expression and dry, "as-few-words-as-possible" communication.

    I've gotten that, too.

As a consumer (or potential consumer), would you want to invest your hard earned money in a place that doesn't care enough about you to hire good help? Of course not.
I mean, if you buy something from this place and something should go wrong, you don't want any problems in rectifying the situation and if the service sucks so badly until you can't trust that there won't be a tough time had by all, you'll probably want go somewhere else to begin with.

Likewise, if the employees are inviting, knowledgeable, and eager to help you, this is just as important as the store itself being clean and it makes you feel more sure of your purchase and in the fact that you spent your money in the right place.

    Hope this helps.
