Examples For Marketing Myopia?

    Myopia is nearsightedness. Marketing myopia would be not seeing the big picture in regards to your business. I guess it could be said that American car manufacturers have had marketing myopia, as they continued (and are in some ways still continuing) to push big cars and trucks even though the market is turning away from these gas guzzlers now that gasoline prices are high and people are becoming more worried about global warming.
