Help With A New Idea!

i am in the process of coming up with a new idea for dumpsters my plan is to start a mini dumpster business. meaning a small box on wheels like a "pods" but for the junk wich we deliver to homeowners (which is our target client) and they load it or we load it. i really want to play off the idea of pods and use junkpods but! not sure what the legal issue would be with this but that would be a amzing use of someones elses marketing for my idea nasicly what to do with the leftover junk call junkpods. but if not maybe you can help with some other ideas my tag line could be "think outside the big ugly box" our dumpsers will be small clean and new.maybe

    Pods are used by people to as a temporary storage solution. I think you could have a lot of confusion with jumping on that band wagon as you will have to explain what you are doing a lot.

    I do not know the legal ramifications but you are probably getting pretty close to questionable as it seems to be a related industry.

    I personally would not use pods.

    You can have the best idea in the world but without the talent of people to help you realize it - the idea will just remain that. With that aside, sounds like you are on to something.

    Use the name variation technique to differentiate your pod idea by calling it "Waste Pods" then throw a environmentally friendly differentiation on it like "Green Waste Pods" - environmentally friendly waste disposal. Maybe they can be a biodegradable pod that enriches the soil because it is built out of soil enriching bi-product that breaks down in the landfill rapidly.

    These are just my wildest marketing fantasies at work. If you want someone on your board -- look me up on my profile. I have a great deal of experience with start-ups.

    Pods aside, focus on a differentiating factor and brand accordingly.
