Brand Identity Planning Model

May i know the brand identity planning model for a HIDE SIGN,a leather product.I think u would help me in this as i have to submit a report on this

    I'm thinking that "Hide Sign" may be the product and what he's looking for is a Branding/Messaging "Model" that he can follow to do branding work for the product.

    That's my guess.
