Why Niche Marketing Is Better. Urgent

i'm looking for a clear argument about why niche marketing is better than undifferentiated or differentiated marketing. i already understand about the niche marketing's definition, but finding it hard to mention a clear and strong argument. thank you.

    Niche marketing is better because there is no one-size-fits-all marketing strategy. Think about it in terms of cable advertising:
    Would you advertise the new Sex and the City movie during 4:00 after-school cartoons on Nickolodean, the Disney Channel and ABC Family? Of course not! You'd advertise it on Lifetime, WE, LMN, TLC, the Style Network and HGTV.

    You should read Neil Anuskiewicz' recent MarketingProfs article on segmented and triggered emails for a more through example.
