Bloggers are folks who write and publish blog content. Commenters are folks who leave comments on the blog articles.

Are you looking for bloggers to write content for you? Or are you saeeking people to comment on your blog content? Please clarify.

In the blogosphere, your audience finds you. You simply have to hang your domain name and blog content out there and begin building your audience. You can make comments on other people's blogs and include a link in your comments back to your blog, this is a highly effective way to attract people to your blog and build link love and SEO for your blog. Keep on commenting on other blogs similar in theme to yours. Eventually you will notice your visits to your site start to tick up as folks catch on to your content and come back again and again.

    Hope this helps you.

    Hi Darcy,

Thanks for setting straight my bungled blog terminology. To clarify, I am seeking the latter -- people to comment and your suggestions are helpful, thank you.

After posting this question, I found a posting by Seth Godin on "How to Get Traffic to Your Blog" (https://sethgodin.typepad.com/seths_blog/2006/06/how_to_get_traf.html) which supports your suggestions and might be helpful to others.
