Carreer Change To Marketing In Nursing Homes

Looking for thoughts on how difficult it would be to move from pck goods (food ) marketing to marketing in the nursing or retierment home area.

    I don't think it would be too hard. If you are good at Marketing, then you are already good at marketing. You are just selling a different thing - a service instead of a product.

    This might give you a great opportunity to go back to some of your old (and possibly dusty) marketing books on your shelves, and reread them. You might even want to hit good old Amazon and look for new books on service marketing or marketing to seniors (or perhaps their children).

    Good luck with this career change. There's gold in them thar hills.
