How To Make A Good Tagline Or Slogan For Adv.

hi! my major problem is that when we have to make an advertisement (assignment) in college i have decent ideas but those don't really work well because i really cannot make a good slogan or a tagline for it n eventually i don't score. How can i improvise on them.

    Watch what others do.
    Make it a habit to look at all the tag lines of other corporations.
    Than think why they were created and what do they mean to you.
    See if you can do it yourself.
    Another exercise could be to try and IMPROVE the famous tag lines you admire.
    See if you can think of something better than:"Just Do It"
    Go ahead, challenge yourself!

    Ask others for feedback. Sometimes we fall in love with our own ideas and can't be impartial about their effectiveness.

    Tag line is a punch line for the product or for remembering the company.So it must be in the form of a small jingle. or i can say like a rhyme. Please watch carefully some products tag line. every product/ company are using tag line as a remembering tool for their product.

    for example Xing thing : gold spot (old - not available)
    eat heathlty think better for Brittani biscuits etc...

    again u r not mentioning what idea u r having and what is your product. If i know about this then it may easy for u to help further.
