Most people who want to do-it-themselves already have a wealth of tools to do so for very low cost. But what stops them are a number of things: computer savvy, a professional appearance (a skilled graphics person can do amazing things with simple tools that a non-graphics person couldn't), and time.

I think there is no one size fits all software for this because successful e-commerce is driven by strong products and strong marketing just like any other kind of commerce.

One key that I would want to have in such a solution if it exists is excellent tracking tools and the ability to generate multiple partner tracking in order to credit affiliates for their sales.

A full beck end inventory management and commission accounting platform.

If it is hard goods to be delivered, then a strong Customer service package to track the orders, print branded shipping labels etc. and a good message system to open tickets and calm the nerves of anxious shoppers awaiting their products to be delivered.

In my experience, the definition of a good landing page that successfully converts traffic is tough to pin down because it keeps changing all the time. Just like a bricks and mortar store needs to change its display modules regularly to keep customers coming back, an online e-commerce store also needs to have fresh exciting offers to keep the users shopping.

maybe you think you have found the holy grail of wysiwyg e-commerce softwares but honestly, it is worth nothing if you do not have the savvy to promote your site, bring qualified traffic and convert the traffic into paying users.

There are a myriad of available resources to build these types of sites from free to medium to high end to fully bespoke solutions. It all depends on what you want to sell and how much you are willing to invest in the marketing.

    Good luck

Thank you for such a reply. That gives me some things to think about. I still believe this is the best option out there on the market. I like the printed invoices option. This will be built into the builder. Marketing is simple and will be suplimented by comprehensive books and DVDs.

Is it just me or does this question sound pretty spammy.
