Sms Marketing?

recently,
i got an article from marketingprofs related to sms marketing,but what is ur opinion regarding this article is it an innovative subject because i havent seen sms marketing on large scale in india and if seen is a brand sending promotional offers to its existing customers. please do tell em the benefits and disadvantages of this kind of marketing.hope to see a goood response from ur side.

    I’m assuming that English is not your first language, but that’s no excuse for not using capital letters and checking that your question is at least comprehensible.

    If you search the site for SMS and Text Massaging you will get about 20 possible answers for your question – assuming that I have interpreted it properly.

    The consensus is that text is great for clients, especially on the service front and as for selling; it annoys the shit out of recipients.
