You need to get links to your sites. This is probably the hardest to do since you do not have control. The best way to do this is offer content that will cause people to want to share it with others, thus creating links. Do you have a blog that has topics that are interested to the people that you would like to attract.

Google AdWords is what got us started with driving traffic and business and I am a big fan of it. It does cost some money and requires work to get it working well.

I got Google AdWords certified not so much to be AdWords certified but to help motivate me to view all their online training videos and read all the articles. It helped a lot to go through their online training program. It took a number of hours but when I finished it made starting and then optimizing our campaigns a lot easier.

Or, if you have the budget, I am sure there are good Search Engine Marketing consultants out there to do this stuff for you. Now that we have grown enough, we have hired a consultant to deal with it.
