T-shirt Design Ideas

Posted by Anonymous on 50 Points
We are co-sponsoring an upcoming college event that will be featured on TV. We want to put our corporate logo and the college logo on the front on a T-shirt that's being given away, so they'll be visible when on camera.

Other than side by side, does anyone have any ideas how to make the two logos look a bit more exciting. Some sort of background? A graphic element?

Cheers

It would be helpful if we knew what type of event it was so we could tie in the design to the event.

    Great. Thanks for the clarification.

Writing is more my forte than graphics, but I will give it a whirl anyway. Maybe my ideas will spark something in others.

How about a VERY stylized (abstract, almost) woman dribbling two "balls" with each of your logos on one of the balls.

    or

Do a large pink ribbon that starts at the shoulder at a 45 degree angle with your logos at the tail end of each side of the ribbon's end. This "off balance" type of design is very popular right now.

Just a couple of ideas. Would love to know what you end up going with.

    Best of luck,

Bearing in mind the theme of the event, this might be really tacky, or it might just work. How about putting each of the logo's in a circle, the circle positioned over each "boob" with the linking device being a lacy pink bra (all this printed on a T-shirt of course - reading this back that wasn't immediately obvious!)? You'd be pretty much guaranteed TV coverage, your only issue would be if the team are conformable wearing something like that.

Incidentally, Have you heard of the moonwalk? It's a (hugely successful) UK Breast Cancer awareness event of a 10k midnight walk where all the participants (95% women, but there are a few men!!!) wear a pink bra, either on it's own, or over a white T-shirt. It generates great publicity and support from many female celebrities and women's magazines. I'll see if I can find a link and post it.
